Citec to the Charleroi Light Metro opening

After the achievement of the City Centre loop and the opening of the Eastern branch towards Soleilmont, the Northern extension of Charleroi tramway has now been inaugurated on Friday, June 21st.

This mobility project represents a very important step for the main city of Hainaut Province and push the urban development  for Jumet and Gosselies Municipalities. After several years of study, the group Citec – Transitec, leaded by Citec, achieves the implementation of 28 traffic light junctions aiming to give priority to the public transport.
