In 2024, Citec celebrated its 30th anniversary. To mark this milestone, encourage collective participation, and reaffirm its commitment to sustainable development, each Citec Group employee was offered 30 shares in Team for the Planet.
Team for the Planet is a collaborative organization dedicated to fighting climate change. Based on the principle of collective intelligence, it brings together citizens, businesses, and institutions to fund and support innovative projects that have a positive environmental impact. Their goal is to raise one billion euros to invest in around a hundred concrete initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preserving natural resources, while ensuring full transparency and participatory governance.

In this spirit, we decided to support an initiative that shares our values and aims to have a global impact » explains Franco Tufo, CEO of Citec Group. That’s why, to celebrate Citec’s 30th anniversary, each employee received 30 shares in Team for the Planet, becoming a shareholder in this citizen-driven movement. This initiative allows them to actively contribute to meaningful projects that align with their values.
