PARIS 2024 – With the flame extinguished, a look back at the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Citec’s role in organising the transport of this exceptional event.
Citec was invited as speaker at UITP workshop on last June 17th, in Newark (NJ, USA). This occasion allowed Stefano Manelli to share Citec’s expertise and to strengthen our links on the other side of the Atlantic with transport and large events stakeholders.
In last november 2023, the Host City exhibition, greatest meeting of sporting, commercial and cultural events, was taking place in Glasgow. Citec shared its insights on transport planning and operations derived from recent Ryder Cup held in Rome.
A new Olympic year has arrived, bringing with it its motto: “Citius, Altius, Fortius – Communiter,” which translates to “Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together.” In 2024, let us draw inspiration from this mantra!
Could the Olympic and Paralympic Games be held in Switzerland from 2030 onwards? A feasibility study, in which Citec participated, sheds light on this question.
On November 15 and 16, the 10th edition of the Greatest Meeting of sporting, commercial and cultural events took place in Glasgow. Stefano Manelli, Citec Large Events Manager, attended Host City as a speaker and talked about “New norm » of Events’ Mobility” and announced thatPlayground, the French Events Management Company, joins Citec group.
After twelve years of absence, the famous golf tournament returns on July the 4th and 5th at Adare Manor in Ireland. Citec is on site as observer.
The Nitto ATP Finals 2021 tennis tournament took place in Turin from 14 to 21 November 2021 at the Pala Alpitour.
Citec has been commissioned by the Crans-Montana municipalities association to establish the accessibility concept for an MTB World Cup event, in close collaboration with the various stakeholders involved in the organisation.
